First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study watches anesthesia residents as they place epidural catheters using two different methods—loss of resistance and hanging drop. The goal is to see which method leads to more successful first attempts and fewer complications. About 440 patients having planned surgery will take part, and an observer will record what happens during the procedure and afterward.
