First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests if giving pain medicine in small, timed bursts (bolus) works better than a steady drip (continuous infusion) for managing breakthrough pain during labor. It will include 240 first-time mothers with a single baby in head-down position. The goal is to see which method keeps pain scores lower and reduces the need for extra pain relief.
