Easing labor pain may reduce C-Section fear and boost Mother-Baby bond
NCT ID NCT07112495
Summary
This study looked at whether using epidural pain relief during a first-time vaginal birth could help reduce women's fear of childbirth, which often leads them to choose cesarean sections. Researchers followed 80 first-time mothers to see if better pain management improved their confidence in breastfeeding and their emotional connection with their babies in the first six months. The goal was to understand if providing more information about epidural options could make vaginal birth a more positive and preferred choice.
