Summary

This study looked for the best dose of a medicine called ephedrine to treat low blood pressure in newborns and infants up to 6 months old during surgery. Low blood pressure is common in these young patients under anesthesia and can be harmful. The study tested different doses of ephedrine in 120 infants to find the dose that works best and is safe.
