Major study aims to connect patient symptoms to what doctors see inside
NCT ID NCT02523118
Summary
This study aims to find better ways to measure how patients with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGIDs) are doing. It will follow 1350 children and adults over time during their normal doctor visits. Researchers will compare tissue samples from routine scopes with answers from symptom and quality-of-life questionnaires to see if they tell the same story.
