Scientists hunt for hidden environmental triggers of thyroid cancer

Summary

This study aims to understand how environmental exposures, like certain chemicals, might affect thyroid cancer risk and how aggressive it becomes. Researchers will enroll 500 adults with thyroid nodules who are scheduled for surgery. They will collect small blood samples and use questionnaires to measure participants' exposures and link them to cancer outcomes.
