Could the weather help diagnose a ticking time bomb in your chest?
NCT ID NCT07467486
Summary
This study aims to see if adding local weather and air pollution information to a doctor's checklist can help emergency rooms spot dangerous aortic conditions more quickly. Researchers will look back at the records of 580 patients who came to the hospital with chest, back, or abdominal pain. They will check if combining environmental data with patient symptoms improves the accuracy of diagnosing these serious, often hard-to-detect vascular emergencies.
