First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests an experimental pill called ENV-294 for adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (eczema). About 200 participants will take either one of three doses of ENV-294 or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in eczema severity, symptoms, and safety to see if the drug can help control the condition.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance

ENV-294

What this could lead to

If it works, this could lead to a new daily pill that controls eczema symptoms like itching and redness.

What could go wrong

This is an early phase 2 trial with only 200 people, so it may not show clear benefit. Side effects are still being studied, and the drug may not work better than placebo.
