First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study investigates whether chronic infections with gut viruses can lead to hepatitis and other liver problems in people with primary or secondary immune deficiencies. Researchers will collect blood, stool, and urine samples from 120 participants to screen for viruses and analyze immune responses. The goal is to identify which patients are at risk and better understand the connection between these viruses and liver damage.
