First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This trial tests whether enoxaparin, a blood thinner, can improve outcomes for babies with poor growth and low amniotic fluid. 108 pregnant women will receive either enoxaparin plus standard care or standard care alone until delivery. The study will measure live birth rates, low birth weight, and other neonatal outcomes.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- enoxaparin (a blood thinner)
- What this could lead to
- If it works, this could point toward a treatment to improve live birth rates and reduce low birth weight in complicated pregnancies.
- What could go wrong
- This is a small, early-stage trial (108 participants) that hasn't started yet. Enoxaparin carries bleeding risks, and results may not apply to all pregnancies.
