NCT ID NCT07246551
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tests two digital tools to help primary care doctors better diagnose middle ear infections (otitis media). One is a game-like training program for physicians, and the other is an AI system that analyzes ear images. About 200 patients with ear symptoms will take part across four Swedish regions. The goal is to see if these tools improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce unnecessary antibiotic use, and support smarter treatment decisions.
