Summary
This study tested whether a mix of cognitive training, physical exercise, healthy lifestyle advice, and computer-based activities could help older adults (ages 50-75) with or at risk for mild cognitive impairment. 120 participants were randomly assigned to either the active program or health education only. Researchers measured memory and thinking with tests and brain scans over 12 months to see if the program improved cognitive function.
