First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at two ways to help Veterans with chronic insomnia get a short, non-drug treatment called Brief Behavioral Treatment for Insomnia (BBTI) in primary care clinics. One way was training providers to deliver BBTI, and the other added extra support to help them use it more. The goal was to see if more Veterans would get this effective sleep therapy and if their insomnia symptoms would improve.
