New scope light aims to catch hidden polyps during colonoscopy

Summary

This study tests whether a special light during colonoscopy helps doctors find more precancerous polyps than the standard light. About 800 adults aged 45 to 85 getting a colonoscopy will take part. The goal is to see if the enhanced light improves detection without changing the procedure.
