Summary
This study tested a special recovery plan for children having surgery to remove cancer in the belly or pelvic area. Researchers compared children who followed the new plan to children who had surgery in the past. They wanted to see if the plan helped kids have fewer complications, less pain, and shorter hospital stays after their operations.
