New study aims to speed up recovery after emergency C-Sections

Summary
This study will test whether a set of recovery steps, called Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS), can help women recover faster after an emergency cesarean section. About 100 women having an emergency C-section will be enrolled. The plan includes better pain control, early eating and moving, and close monitoring of recovery milestones like first bowel movement and walking.
