Summary

This study looks at whether adding community health worker visits and free healthy groceries to the standard Meals on Wheels program can improve diet, reduce loneliness, and boost quality of life for older adults in Rhode Island. About 1,640 participants at high nutritional risk will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard meal delivery or the enhanced version. The goal is to see if the extra support makes a meaningful difference in their health and well-being.
