Summary
This study tested a new device called the Hēlo PE Thrombectomy System to remove blood clots from the lungs in people with acute submassive pulmonary embolism. The goal was to see if the device is safe and can quickly improve heart function. 177 participants were enrolled, and the study measured serious complications within 48 hours and changes in heart strain on CT scans.
