Scientists test 'Engineered' transplant to fight blood cancers with fewer side effects

NCT ID NCT03802695

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing the safety of a modified donor stem cell transplant, called Orca-Q, for people with certain blood cancers like leukemia. The goal is to see if this engineered transplant can help patients recover their blood counts while reducing serious complications like graft-versus-host disease. The study will enroll up to 300 participants who are eligible for a donor stem cell transplant.
