New drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat kidney and ureter cancers

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug enfortumab vedotin is safe and effective when given before surgery to people with aggressive cancer in their upper urinary tract (kidney or ureter). The trial is for patients who are not eligible for or have chosen not to receive the standard chemotherapy drug cisplatin. All participants will receive the study drug and then undergo planned surgery to remove their tumor.
