Scientists use special rooms to find your perfect food balance
NCT ID NCT07155564
Summary
This study aims to better understand how much food a person needs to eat to match the energy their body burns, a state called 'energy balance.' Researchers will use special sealed rooms (whole-room calorimeters) to precisely measure the energy burned by 34 healthy participants. The goal is to improve the accuracy of energy balance estimates, which could inform better strategies for weight management and obesity prevention.
