NCT ID NCT07333950
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether a procedure to remove blood clots from the brain (endovascular therapy) helps people with severe stroke recover enough to walk independently. It involves 308 adults aged 18-80 who have a large stroke in the back part of the brain and can be treated within 24 hours of symptoms. The main goal is to see if more people achieve a good recovery (able to walk without help) at 90 days compared to standard care.
