Summary
This study tested a new clip that holds the breathing tube in place to reduce pressure on the voice box. The goal was to see if it could prevent sore throat, hoarseness, and trouble swallowing after surgery. 100 adults having surgery with a breathing tube took part, and those with throat problems before surgery were not included.
