Summary

This study tested a new support device for breathing tubes to see if it could reduce common side effects like sore throat, hoarseness, and trouble swallowing. 100 patients having surgery with a breathing tube took part. The device was designed to lower pressure on the voice box. Patients reported their symptoms for one week after surgery.
