New scope procedure aims to heal bile duct wounds without more surgery

Summary

This study looks at how well a scope-based treatment works for people who have a bile duct injury after gallbladder or liver surgery. The goal is to fix the injury without needing another operation. Researchers will track 220 adults to see how many get better with the initial scope procedure and stay well for at least 3 months.
