New banding procedure tested to tame stubborn acid reflux

Summary
This small study is testing a new endoscopic procedure to control acid reflux in people who have had gastric sleeve surgery. Doctors will place small bands inside the lower esophagus to see if it reduces acid backup and the need for daily medication. The study will follow 12 participants for six months to measure changes in their symptoms and medication use.
