New tool aims to speed recovery from severe pancreatitis

Summary
This study compares a new device called Endorotor to standard endoscopic techniques for removing dead tissue from the pancreas in people with severe pancreatitis. About 64 adults who need this procedure will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The goal is to see if the new device clears the dead tissue faster and reduces complications.
