Scientists hunt for new clue to diagnose hidden pain
NCT ID NCT07164196
Summary
This study aimed to find a better way to detect endometriosis, a painful condition where tissue grows outside the uterus. Researchers compared levels of a specific protein (ANGPTL4) in the blood and pelvic fluid of 80 women—some with endometriosis and some without. The goal was to see if this protein could be a more reliable marker than current tests to help with future diagnosis.
