Testing a faster radiation schedule for uterine cancer recovery

NCT ID NCT04458402

Summary

This study aimed to find the safest dose for a shorter, more convenient radiation schedule given after surgery for endometrial (uterine) cancer. It involved 8 patients who had already had surgery and needed pelvic radiation to help prevent the cancer from returning. The main goal was to measure side effects to determine the highest dose patients could tolerate without severe stomach or bladder problems.
