Do microscopic cancer cells in lymph nodes predict future risk?

Summary
This study aims to understand whether finding very small clusters of cancer cells in nearby lymph nodes affects the long-term outlook for patients with early-stage, low-risk uterine cancer. Researchers will follow 212 patients who have already completed standard surgery and have these tiny cells detected, but received no additional treatment. By comparing their outcomes to historical data, the study seeks to determine if this finding alone changes the risk of the cancer coming back.
