New drug duo aims to halt advanced uterine cancer
NCT ID NCT04393285
Summary
This study is testing whether a combination of two existing drugs, abemaciclib and letrozole, can stop advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer from getting worse for at least six months. It involves about 53 women whose cancer has spread or returned and is not likely curable by surgery or radiation. The treatment is taken as pills and continues as long as it works and side effects are manageable.
