Summary

This study compared two common methods for taking tissue samples from the uterus lining in women experiencing abnormal or postmenopausal bleeding. Researchers randomly assigned 480 women to either the Pipelle or Karman biopsy method, with all participants receiving the same local pain control. The main goal was to see which method provided better quality tissue samples for diagnosis while also measuring patient comfort and procedure efficiency.
