Scientists search for early warning signs in fragile newborns
NCT ID NCT07154134
Summary
This study aims to understand if two substances in the blood (endocan and copeptin) can help doctors predict how serious breathing problems will be in premature babies. Researchers will measure these levels in 40 preterm newborns with respiratory distress syndrome on their first day of life. The goal is to gather knowledge that might one day lead to better monitoring and care for these vulnerable infants.
