New ulcerative colitis drug tracked in everyday patients

Summary

This observational study follows 300 adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis who are prescribed etrasimod as part of their routine care. Researchers will track symptoms like stool frequency and rectal bleeding over 52 weeks to see how well the drug works in real life. Participants complete health questionnaires on their phone or computer, with no extra tests or visits beyond standard care.
