NCT ID NCT05735015

Summary

This study tested a new drug called encaleret in 13 adults with low calcium levels after neck surgery damaged their parathyroid glands. Researchers wanted to see if the drug could help normalize blood calcium levels while also keeping urine calcium in a safe range to protect the kidneys. Participants took the drug for 5 days during a clinic stay, with close monitoring of their blood and urine.
