Targeted drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat lymphoma

Summary
This study is testing whether the drug enasidenib is a safe and effective treatment for adults with a rare and aggressive type of blood cancer called angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) that has a specific genetic change (IDH2 mutation). Researchers will give enasidenib either by itself or combined with another drug called rituximab to see how well it works and how safe it is. The goal is to see if this targeted approach can help control the disease in people whose cancer has come back or stopped responding to other treatments.
