NCT ID NCT03985345

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested a connected device called EMY that helps women train their pelvic floor muscles after giving birth. The goal was to see if using the probe improves quality of life for those with stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when coughing, sneezing, or exercising). Fifty-five women who had given birth at least six months earlier and had weekly leakage for over three months took part. The study measured quality of life, how often women used the device, and changes in urine leakage over time.
