Zap your legs to fight menopause muscle loss?
NCT ID NCT07385534
Summary
This study is testing whether adding electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to leg exercises is better than regular exercise alone for improving muscle strength, body composition, and artery health in postmenopausal women. Researchers will compare three groups: one doing EMS with exercise, one doing exercise only, and one with no intervention. The goal is to see if EMS is a time-efficient way to help control age-related muscle loss and stiffening of arteries.
