Can simple surveys ease the burden of dialysis?
NCT ID NCT03535922
Summary
This large study tested whether regularly asking dialysis patients about their symptoms and quality of life could improve their care. Nearly 4,000 patients across Canada were involved. Dialysis clinics were assigned to either use specific symptom surveys, general health surveys, both, or continue with usual care, to see if the surveys helped doctors better address patient needs.
