Scientists track empathy over time in emotional disorder
NCT ID NCT05381649
Summary
This study aims to understand how empathy changes over time in people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Researchers will follow about 30 participants for two years, using computer tests and questionnaires to measure their ability to understand others' feelings. The goal is to learn if changes in empathy are linked to changes in the severity of the person's symptoms.
