Summary

This study tests a new medicine called empasiprubart against the standard treatment (IVIg) for people with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), a nerve disease that causes weakness and numbness. About 218 adults who have used IVIg before will receive either the new drug or IVIg for 6 months, then everyone gets empasiprubart for 2 years. The goal is to see if empasiprubart works better at reducing disability.
