Summary
This study tested whether a new generic version of the diabetes drug empagliflozin works the same in the body as the original brand-name drug, Jardiance. Thirty-two healthy adults took both versions at different times so researchers could compare how the drugs were absorbed. The goal was to see if the generic is bioequivalent, meaning it delivers the same amount of medicine in the same way.
