Can tapping your face calm surgery anxiety?
NCT ID NCT07066371
Summary
This study tested if a mind-body technique called Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) could reduce anxiety in patients receiving preventive foot wound care after surgery. 60 patients were split into two groups: one learned and practiced EFT for a month, while the other received standard care. Researchers measured anxiety levels before and after to see if the tapping therapy made a difference.
