Can a school program teach teens to tame their emotions?
NCT ID NCT06878521
Summary
This study tested a group training program designed to help high school students (ages 14-16) improve their ability to manage difficult emotions. Researchers wanted to see if the program, delivered during school hours, could reduce mild symptoms of emotional distress, anxiety, and depression. They measured changes by having students and their teachers complete questionnaires before, after, and three months following the program.
