Summary

This study looks at whether emotional intelligence—the ability to understand and manage emotions—can influence chronic orofacial pain. Researchers will compare 88 adults with and without temporomandibular disorder (TMD) using questionnaires. The goal is to find new ways to improve pain management and possibly prevent chronic pain.
