Summary
This study looked at how parents cope emotionally after their child is hospitalized in intensive care for a severe injury. Researchers surveyed 62 parents 3 to 6 months after the child left the ICU to check for signs of depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. The goal was to understand the hidden emotional toll on families, not to test a treatment.
