Can your mood predict cancer treatment success?
NCT ID NCT06629714
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a patient's emotional state before treatment, along with certain blood markers, could predict how well they respond to immunotherapy. Researchers observed 196 adults with advanced lung or gastroesophageal cancer who were starting their first treatment. The goal was to gather knowledge to potentially help guide future treatment decisions, not to test a new therapy.
