New emotional support programs tested for cancer Patients' mental health
NCT ID NCT07236021
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether two different emotional support programs are practical and acceptable for people recently diagnosed with advanced cancer. The programs use techniques like cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, and positive psychology to help patients better manage their emotions. Researchers will enroll 30 participants to see if patients can complete the programs and whether they help reduce anxiety, depression, and worry about cancer progression.
