First seen Jan 13, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study explored whether emotional distress before treatment and certain blood markers (like inflammation levels) can predict how well immunotherapy works in people with advanced lung or gastroesophageal cancer. Researchers followed 196 patients who had not received prior treatment. The goal was to understand these factors, not to test a new treatment.
