First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to monitor muscle relaxation during robotic or laparoscopic surgery: electromyography (EMG) and acceleromyography (AMG). The goal is to see which method leads to using less muscle relaxant medication. About 400 adults having planned keyhole surgery will take part. Results may help improve how muscle relaxants are given during these procedures.
